AND YOU THOUGHT YOU KNEW ME

This is an email from Major Select Brent Norquist, the Supply Officer for 1st Tank Battalion. He and I had become friends during my first year at Tanks partly because of our wives, our kids, and the commonalities of our experiences. We had both been enlisted, both from the Northwest, and both served in the Gulf War.

One night he came over and I showed him my webpage and he did not realize, even after knowing me for a year, that I had engineered such an extensive web page dedicated to the Marine Corps. This was his response the next day.


All I can say is wow.  What an outstanding site!  I charge you with keeping up the good work and using your writing skills and experience to spread the Marine Corps story.  I can tell by the feedback given to you that your site has had a profoundly positive impact on both those who may want to join our Corps, and those who may have had negative feelings about the Corps.  Semper Fi Devildog
